Be a Quitter
Kick Tobacco with the Right Tools

Like many people, Danny started smoking in high school. “I was young and it seemed cool,” he explains. “But that was 30 years ago and I’m finally ready to quit.”

Quitting tobacco is definitely challenging. Not only is the nicotine in tobacco highly addictive, the behavior is also hard to break. While it’s possible to quit on your own, it often takes some help to finally become tobacco-free.

“One of my friends at work had quit, and I asked her how she did it,” says Danny. “She told me about programs available through the company.”

To get started, Danny visited WellConnect— health and wellness website— where he located tobacco cessation programs like QuitNet and the HealthZone Health Assistant, powered by WebMD. He decided to enroll in the QuitNet program.

“For me, using quit medications and having them delivered was key,” he says. “My health coach kept me honest and on track.”
