If you are enrolled in the
Legal Plan at the time of your retirement, your coverage will continue through the end of the plan year if you pay your premiums directly to ARAG, the Legal Plan provider. You will then have an opportunity to enroll in the Salaried Retiree Group Legal Plan during the next Annual Enrollment period for a coverage effective date of January 1 of the following year.
If you are enrolled in
vision coverage at the time of your retirement, your coverage will end at the end of the month in which you retire. You’ll have an opportunity to enroll in the Salaried Retiree Vision Plan during the next Annual Enrollment period, and your coverage will become effective January 1 of the following year. If you wish to continue vision coverage between your retirement date and the end of the current year, you may elect COBRA continuation coverage.
